The Beginning

I was born and raised in the UK and come from a family of sailors. From a very young age, I was surrounded by boats and have been sailing since I could walk and talk. Our family spent summers in the picturesque village of Abersoch, the sailing mecca of North Wales. The sea runs firmly in my blood and I remain a very passionate sailor. One of my most memorable childhood experiences (age 6) was when I took out our little 12 foot wooden "Mirror Dingy", no one actually explained to me how to ‘come about’, so I just kept sailing in the same direction until my Father came out to rescue me. I have not stopped sailing since, but have finally mastered the art of tacking!

 

Finding a love for Catamarans

Along with a group of sailing friends, we charter CATS every year in the stunningly beautiful BVI. This was my first introduction to the massive advantages of CATS over mono hulls and what led to me working for The Catamaran Company.

 

Family Life

I emigrated from the UK to Florida in 2011 and now live on the west coast barrier islands, where thankfully the sailing season is year round. I am married to Christina and we have 2 boys, 20 and 17, we all have a keen affection for the sea, the eldest is about to join the US Navy.

My goal is to make fellow sailors ecstatically happy, I want to ensure you obtain the boat that is truly the correct choice for your needs, whilst ensuring it is also priced correctly. Our company has a wealth of experience for you to draw on, so I know you are in very good hands.
