Boat Description

This is a great opportunity to purchase a lightly used, updated and maintained Fountaine-Pajot Mahe 36.  She is a 3-cabin 1 head version: The Starboard hull is reserved for the master stateroom with spacious and stylish head forward. The port hull accommodates two double cabins. The Fountaine Pajot Mahe 36 is an easy and exciting cat to sail.  As with all the FP cats she is quicker than her competitors and is known for her superior styling.
“Sail La Vie” has just enjoyed a recent refit including new mainsail and genoa, upgraded canvas and interior upholstery, custom closet doors, new anchor, bottom paint, buff & wax, new props and saildrive seals, mechanical revision and has updated Garmin electronics, making her a turn-key vessel anyone can enjoy.  She also has the necessary comforts for southern latitudes including A/C and new Yanmar generator 2024, all with very low hours.  While the Mahe 36 has a smaller footprint, she inherits a big cat feel unique in this category with a modern, bright and airy feel, ample headroom and storage.
With a sheltered open-plan cockpit, a clean and uncluttered deck layout, new canvas cockpit bimini plus a raised helm station boasting 360- degree vision with centralized commands, the Mahe´ 36 innovative exterior design complements its outstanding performance. The Mahe 36 performance characteristics come from a strong but much lighter weight hull utilizing infusion technology and composite bulkheads.  There's much less water slapping as she has a significantly higher bridge deck clearance, as much as 30% higher than her competitors.  Lower helm stations enabling lower booms yield a lower center of gravity improving both speed and stability.  As to style her superior design is evident to the beholder.  Her lines are graceful and sweeping, not abrupt and vertical.  Enjoy one level living with the salon on the same level as the cockpit-no climbing down into the "dungeon" as in monohulls.  Guests will be together with the helmspeople (2 person helmseat) whether inside or out.
