The Catamaran Company, which owns and manages the world’s largest catamaran website, www.catamarans.com, is looking for a permanent onsite entry level Web Editor Assistant to help grow our site content, newsletters and news archive.

The Web Editor will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will most likely be a recent (or upcoming) college graduate with marketing/PR skills.

The Editor will work closely with our lead web designer to produce helpful and informational web pages for our yacht buyers and charterers.

We are looking for someone who will be passionate and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic web department.

This person loves web marketing and all the possibilities that flow from it.

Candidates should preferably be local, skilled in word processing/excel and the general dynamics of web content production.   A knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver and photoshop would be a definite plus but not absolutely required.

The hired individual will have responsibility for support and enhancement of The Catamaran Company Contact Management system full time basis including weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Main responsibility during the weekends is to assign leads to their appropriate destination based on the Leads/Contacts Policies.
• Provide system administration of the contact management system know as Salesforce
• Create new reporting capabilities as needed.
• Provide support functions as needed.
• Maintain, enhance and create workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce environment.
• Back Up of Salesforce Data

Training will be provided

Salesforce experience not required but recommended.

Catamarans.com has an opening for a full-time Interactive Web Developer experienced with ASP.NET, C#, and perhaps web services. This brand-new position offers an exciting opportunity to use leading edge Internet technologies to develop interactive Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions.

We are looking for a promising graduate who thinks outside-the-box and has a passion .NET (and open source!) technology. You should feel comfortable programming in asp.net / c# and general web technologies..
This person would grow with a company currently developing an outstanding reputation in the exciting world of yachting catamarans.  You would become part of a web team whose sole goal is world domination using Catamarans.com as the springboard for exciting new web applications.

Specifically you would be involved in helping deploy and extend an open-source .NET web portal/CMS which integrates with both Catamarans.com and the world’s biggest CRM, salesforce.com.    

Projects like this do not come about every day and you will have the opportunity to help define the vision and nature of web programming in the company.
Over time you will deploy additional asp.net/c# apps on top of the portal and website. These could include web 2.0 devices such as google maps, blogs, forums, surveys, voting polls and other custom template designs. 

Minimum Requirements:
* 1-3 Years with ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio .NET
* DHTML (Javascript/CSS/AJAX)
* Windows Server and IIS Administration
* 2-4 year degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Experience with the following preferred:
* Object Oriented Programming
* SQL Server 2005
* Master Pages, ASP.NET 2.0 Web Parts
