Sunreef Supreme 68 S MIdori

Sunreef Yachts Presents the Sunreef Supreme 68 Midori –
a 68-Footer With the Heart of a Superyacht

Premiered at the Singapore Yacht Show 2016 the Sunreef Supreme 68 model has brought a big breath of fresh air in the boating world. The launch of the first yacht within the range – the Singapore-based Eagle Wings was the first time the industry has seen a sailing catamaran under 24 meters in length with a total living space equalling 300 sqm - the kind of comfort one would normally expect to find on a superyacht.

June 2016 is when Sunreef Yachts has set afloat their second Sunreef Supreme 68 – Midori - a stately sailing 68-footer with immense social areas and a zen spirit.

The yacht owes her soothing atmosphere largely to Bram Van Scharen who was appointed by the Owner as interior designer and worked with Sunreef Yachts’ in-house design team to develop Midori’s signature decor. An adviser for high-end housing and private residential projects also involved in superyacht interior design work, he came up with a timeless and discrete style to give Midori a unique touch. One that is immune to trends and is not going to age any time soon.

Midori’s vast saloon surrounded with full-height windows spans over 65m² of smartly used living surface. Its bow section features a large galley stretching over the room’s entire width. The space under the centrally placed countertop conceals fridges, freezers, a wine cooler and a Hoshizaki cube ice maker. Ample storage spaces and kitchen appliances are discretely covered with black matte panels found over the entire bow area of the main room. The central countertop neighbours a large dining table with seating for eight. A customized Devialet loudspeaker is at hand to set the mood.

As the Sunreef Supreme’s radical superstructure concept keeps the saloon and exterior deck on the same level, Midori’s main room opens onto the cockpit and gives direct access to the deck through glass doors on both sides of the yacht. The exterior and interior surfaces of the boat merge into one panoramic lounging and dining area. Midori’s floors and deck are entirely clad in teak wood and the walls kept in a soothing smoke blue tone, making the transition even smoother.

Midori will sleep eight guests in the comfort of three cabins and one master suite, each given a distinct color scheme, varying from anthracite to aqua marine or eucalyptus. All of them feature clever storage, retractable TV’s, Fosgate speakers and ample private bathrooms covered in sintered quartz and equipped with Vola accessories. The Owner’s cabin benefits from a dressing area, a desk, a drop-down TV and a generous master bathroom.

Midori features an immense flybridge topped with an elegant bimini. This scenic area is fitted with a bar, a large sofa and mattresses to obtain a vast dining and lounging space of 65m2. The yacht’s front terrace is the place to relax on the large sun pads or to enjoy a bath in the Jacuzzi.

The boat is equipped with an aft garage – featured on all the Sunreef Supreme 68’s. This voluminous space allows to conveniently store a 5m tender and up to two jet-skis, diving gear and sails. The garage door, when lowered, levels with the yacht’s aft platforms to create an exterior lounging and sunbathing space.

We invite you to enjoy a first couple of pictures of the yacht. Soon, we will be able to share the official set of Midori’s pictures, this time with the yacht fully dressed.

The Sunreef Supreme 68 Midori is going to be showcased at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival at the Sunreef Yachts stand CAT022 in the Catamaran Section.
